“We don’t have much time to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. We only have 7.5 years, 90 months or 2,742 days left to implement the New Urban Agenda. The time to act is now,” said UN-Habitat Executive Director Maimunah Mohd Sharif at the closing of the Forum. In addition, he announced the holding of the next World Urban Forum (WUF12) in Cairo, Egypt, and the opening of Expressions of Interest for cities to apply to host the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
