The International Union of Architects (UIA) and the Higher Council of Colleges of Architects of Spain (CSCAE), with the support of the Government, through the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, the Community of Madrid, UN-Habitat and the College of Architects of Madrid (COAM), have joined hands to launch the UIA International Forum 2022 “Affordable Housing Activation: Removing Barriers”, the largest global event on access to housing, which will be held from May 18 to 20 in Madrid.
It will bring together more than 70 experts of international reference, and representatives of the main institutions and organizations from around the world to analyze the current state of access to housing, the barriers that hinder it and the possible lines of action in the medium and long term.
The Forum has the first global platform of content related to housing accessibility in which international experts from the field of architecture, governance, energy, engineering, economics, urbanism, the environment, sociology, design, technology and innovation participate, and which will have Artificial Intelligence and the first dynamic Atlases linked to hundreds of qualitative indicators.
